January 2010: As a result of demand, we are now providing in-house training, to provide practical guidance to clients on how they can exploit their existing consumer knowledge to obtain the answers to many business questions. Our seminars enable clients to create new, business-building insights and get better value out of their research spend.

April 2009: The Insight Connection has launched its latest guide to best practice: Research in a Recession, containing top tips for managers on how to stretch tight research budgets while still obtaining breakthrough insights. New Website Launched
January 2009: The Insight Connection has launched its new website to showcase its offering to new and potential clients. As well as outlining the company’s unique and innovative approach to consumer insight, the website highlights a number of branded case studies which show how this approach is put into practice to the commercial benefit of clients.

Client Seminar on Recycling ‘Relevant and Useful’
January 2009: a client seminar run by The Insight Connection and focused on exploring the current trend towards the recycling of existing research was deemed a great success by participants. Using a previously published (and Research Award short-listed) paper as a basis for discussion, the seminar allowed participants to determine how they might exploit their own past research to create new business-building insights.

The Insight Connection Finalist in Research Awards
September 2008: a paper co-authored by Judith Steinert of The Insight Connection and Catriona Ferris of Unilever has been short-listed as a finalist for the 2008 Research Awards in the Insight Management category. According to the MRS, "an unprecedented number of entries resulted in an incredibly competitive year and the standard was very high. The judges have had to make some tough choices".

The Insight Connection Present Paper at MRS Conference
March 2008: It was standing room only as a paper co-authored by The Insight Connection and Unilever was presented at the 2008 Market Research Society Conference. Entitled "If you've got it, flaunt it: how to use your hidden assets", the paper explores how organisations can harness their consumer learning for commercial benefit, using a case study on Knorr for illustration.

The Insight Connection at Insight 2007
November 2007: The Insight Connection team will be at Insight 2007 at Earls Court on 20 November, showcasing their services to top decision-makers and building new client relationships. The Insight Show is Europe's largest research exhibition and the only event supported by all major trade associations.

The Insight Connection White Paper Selected for Marketing Website
October 2007: An article written by Janet Coates of The Insight Connection has been published on utalkmarketing.com, a community site used by 120,000 marketers. As one of the site's 'how to' guides, the article examines the gritty issue of unlocking the value your research and preventing wastage of valuable resources.
